How can we help you?

Creative Society has a 10-year track record of working directly with young people and creative employers to support talent development and recruitment from the most diverse talent pipelines to improve employment and in-work progression practice. We do this through our Creative Job Studio events and through our one-to-one mentoring to support young people to progress in their creative careers. We are perfectly placed to provide the mandatory wraparound support that the Kickstart scheme demands to ensure that a young person is well-prepared for their next steps.

How would we do this?

As well as paying the salary of the young person, the government is providing an additional £1500 funding available to employers per young person to provide this essential wraparound support. Our experience of working with employers is that they struggle to recruit from the most diverse talent pipelines and they struggle to support a young person once they are in work. Through regular one-to-one meetings with a creative careers coach, and attendance at Creative Job Studio events both on and offline we can help a young person to focus on their skills, channel their potential and celebrate their unique narratives. Our approach is to provide depth of support over time to build trust and confidence which helps someone become more secure in their professional identity.

We can provide a carousel of support to employers which would include:

  • -One-to-one mentoring with a specialist Creative Society Kickstart Coach
  • -Creative Job Studio group workshops to cover CV preparation, covering letters and interview practice
  • -Creative Job Studio ‘Meet the Creative Industries’ networking session to bring together industry with young and diverse talent
