Fair Access is a campaign to improve recruitment practices in the creative industries. We are tackling the issue of unpaid internships which act as a huge barrier to many young people wishing to pursue creative careers.

By signing our Fair Access Principle, creative employers are publicly pledging to pay all interns in their organisation and to recruiting transparently, ending the prevailing ‘who you know’ not ‘what you know’ culture that exists within the creative industries.

Thanks to the inclusion of the Fair Access Principle in the Creative Employment Programme, lots of organisations have already pledged their commitment to a more diverse and inclusive creative workforce. A list of the organisations who’ve already signed up can be found here or by clicking the Signatories tab at the top of the page.

We want to encourage many more employers to sign up to the Principle and display our Fair Access kitemark on their websites.
