New Deal of the Mind is developing an exciting new project with innovative digital creative agency Metavore to bring Charles Dickens’ London to life in the 200th Anniversary year of his birth: The Sound Plaque Dickens Tour.
The Sound Plaque Dickens Tour will be a series of 12 sound plaques (designed to resemble Blue Plaques) that will illuminate London locations that relate to Dickens life, to his novels or to both.
The Sound Plaques will utilise QR Code technology to bring archive material relating to Dickens into the streets, creating a new way to experience Dickens’ novels, cultural archives relating to them, and London’s urban spaces.
